Gainz Recipe List For Our Nitro Cold Brew, Cold Brew Coffee and Specialty Hot Coffee!

We consider ourselves pretty old school orthodox coffee drinkers.  Our favorite usually tends to be a pour over specialty hot coffee.  No sugar, no pumps or dairy.  Just STRAIGHT black goodness!   With the CrossFit and fitness market always in search of the next big thing, we have had to adapt and create some delicious and "GAINZ" worthy type drinks to keep our customers and friends coming back for more of dat Church St. Coffee.  
We began as a cold brew business selling flavored cold brew made with raw and real ingredients.  Which is what we believe gave us an edge back in the day against those who have already been established in the cold brew biz.  We used cinnamon sticks to flavor our cinnamon cold brew blend, then shortly down road we played around with real Madagascar vanilla bean to create our vanilla nitro and even decided to experiment with a USDA Certified Mocha Cocoa powder to create our mocha blend cold brews and nitro cold brew coffees.  
Fueling up and recovering is a huge part of our life style.  ALL athletes in any sport arena are looking for a cleaner alternative!  As our coffee grew to be more accessible to the masses, we still wanted to stay true to our #fitfam and produce some drinks that could be made with our coffee!
Here we will share some of our favorite protein coffee drinks that can easily be made at the gym or at home in your kitchen!

"Churro Mudslide"
Ingredients:  
  • Cinnamon Nitro Cold Brew (Cinnamon Cold Brew if you don't have this on tap at your gym)  16 oz.
  • Churro Protein from SFH  (One Scoop)
  • Cinnamon Powder (If you feeling fancy AF)
  • Any Dairy (Preferably whole milk if ya'llz are looking for real gainz).  
Simply pour all ingredients into shaker bottle and shake that shit!  Forget any post work out crashes while your body breaks down the proteins, fats and carbs.  The coffee is 35% more caffeinated than the stuff you get at your drive-thru coffee shop.  GIVE IT A GO!

"King Kong"
Ingredients:
  • Chocolate Ascent Protein 
  • 1 Banana.
  • Peanut Butter (One scoop or more if needed.
  • Ice Cubes.
  • Black Church St. Coffee Nitro or cold brew.
You will need a blender for this one!  If you don't have one then then good luck mixing these together with your spoon.  This is probably one of the most delicious drinks we have had with protein and our cold brew combined.  
Simply pour 16 oz of Church St. Coffee Cold brew and ice cubes into your ninja, or whatever blender you may have.  Drop in a scoop of chocolate Ascent protein and peanut butter.  Blend more to get desired texture and then add banana at the end.  This should come out as a smoothie.  Heavy duty and will replace a meal or two but HOLY shit is this amazing.  If you're trying to summer bod, then this may not be your drink but if you're in full bulk season, then this has all the high octane coffee you need and fuel your body craves before hitting the weights or post beast mode sesh!

"Death Wish"
Ingredients:  
  • Cold Brew Church ST. Black Concentrate
  • Nespresso or any shot of espresso from your local coffee shop or espresso home machine.
  • Ice
The name says it all.  Simple to make but the shot can be tough to get.  Add a shot of espresso or nespresso to a 16 oz glass.  Then add ice.  Pour concentrate cold brew over the ice and shot of espresso and be ready to be sent to outer space... if you survive.  *Not an ideal drink if your sensitive to caffeine*

"Coffee Cereal"
Ingredients:
  • 16 Oz of Vanilla Nitro Cold Brew or Vanilla Cold Brew.
  • Scoop of Ghost Whey Protein (Cereal Milk)
  • Table spoon of MCT Oil
  • Splash of sugar in the raw.  
  • POST work out naughtiness add small scoop of whipped cream on top as garnish! hahaha!
This one threw us for a loop.  We had nothing left in the house and decided to mix some of our Ghost Cereal Milk protein with our vanilla cold brew coffee.  It was surprisingly delicious.  We also decided to add a little MCT oil that you can get at any grocery store and some sugar in the raw.  If shaken well with ice and then strained into a large cup, it's heavenly.  Don't be shy to add whipped cream on top if needed!

"Baynes Hot Chocolate"
Ingredients:  
  • Los Abuelos Estate Costa Rican Coffee or Church St. Blend Specialty Grade Coffee
  • Ascent Chocolate Protein.
  • Kerry Gold Butter
  • *Optional splash of Irish Whisky.
Fire up the hot pot.  Grind a half cup of whole bean coffee.  Place 12 cups of water into your hot coffee maker and start that bad boy up.
When pot is finished.  Grab your favorite mug and dump a scoop of chocolate protein into it.  
Slowly pour coffee half way into the mug and then stir for a few seconds until protein breaks down and dissolves.  Then break open that butter and drop in a thin slice or whatever your sweet heart desires after and let it melt all the way. last step, simply pour up to the rim our specialty grade coffee into the your cup.  Rest day vibes call for a shot of Irish Whisky of your choice.  Best had in front of your fire place, while pretending to ROMWOD, but secretly you're watching Bass Pros on TV.  
There isn't any right or wrong way of introducing coffee to spicin' up your supplementation.  Have fun with it and get creative.  Our love for coffee is not only Incorporated to traditional pour overs and hand crafted cold brews, but we do also make rubs with it for our meats and also use it to make sauces.  If your gym carries our nitro on tap or our bottles try these fun recipes out!
